A streetcar company formed in January 1915 to pursue an franchise for an interurban line from Vancouver into Portland as well as lines in Vancouver and Portland. Like other companies before it, it spent a lot of time trying to secure a franchise across the military reservation to East Vancouver, an almost impossible task as it required an Act of Congress to be passed. The bill was finally signed into law by President Wilson in June 1916, but nothing was ever built.
In February 1917, the company changed its name to the Pacific Coast Railway Company to better reflect its goals; I have found very little written about that company yet.
