[In article discussing bonds for a city park] Cedar Park, a small tract controlled by the street railway company, is the only park in or near St. Johns. [It is mentioned as a possible future city park.]


November 12, 1907 – Morning Oregonian

[In article discussing bonds for a city park] It is announced that Cedar Park can be had for $10,000. It is the property of the streetcar company and is located in the heart of St. John (sic).

Cedar Park, one of the old landmarks, is being cleared up and will be sold out in town lots.

The Associated Savings Co., who own the Cedar Park tract of 10 acres on the St. Johns car line, will plat the same into 120 lots 25x100 feet each and will place the same on the market. This tract will be handled by W. H. Morehouse & Co., and will be ready for the market in a short time.
