A company formed to construct the Orchards–Sifton interurban line on behalf of the Vancouver Traction Company. Originally incorporated as the Vancouver Suburban Railway Company, the name was soon changed to encompass the entire county (and to better match its realty sibling, the Clark County Development Company, which had almost identical corporate leadership). Once the line was completed, it was leased to the Vancouver Traction Company for $9,000 a year.
