The depot on October 21, 1914, surrounded by an enthusiastic crowd of “OAC rooters.”
The Oregon Electric Railway Company built their "temporary" Corvallis station on the east side of the Willamette River to connect with the them-new Van Buren Bridge. It was originally planned to build a separate railway bridge across the Willamette to terminal grounds that the Oregon Electric owned in Corvallis, but this never eventuated, probably because traffic never reached a level that justified the expense.

After abandonment of the Corvallis branch, this depot was used by the OSU rowing team as a headquarters for many years. I suspect it was demolished in the early 1960s with the widening of the Corvallis-Lebanon highway and the construction of the Harrison Blvd. Bridge (1964).
