The main reason why the Cazadero line was even built in the first place – to bring construction materials to this massive dam and power station on the Clackamas River near Estacada. The plant became known as Power Station “G” in the PRL&P years. Ownership eventually passed to the Portland General Electric Company, who still operate it to this day.
