An early horsecar line that was converted to electric operation.

In January 1908, the Montgomery line was consolidated with the Mount Tabor line, moving that line’s terminus down to Sixteenth and Montgomery. This arrangement seems to have been short-lived, however – by March 1909, the Montgomery name had been resurrected for use on a one-way circulator route that ran clockwise from Third and Morrison to Eleventh, up to Montgomery, across to Thirteenth, down to Washington and back up on Third. Mount Tabor cars were then planned to go up Morrison to Eighteenth/Chapman, although it seems they actually just turned around at Morrison and Eleventh.

This incarnation of the Montgomery line seems to have been short-lived, as I can find no reference to the line after December 1909.
