Ordinances from the cities of Portland, East Portland, Albina, St. Johns and Oregon City relating to streetcar and interurban railway franchises and operation. This list is not exhaustive, though it is still being added to. Where known, I will indicate when ordinances were repealed or replaced by newer ordinances and provide cross-links between related ordinances.
As time went on, individual franchises for separate lines were replaced by so-called “blanket” franchises that covered every line that a company operated.
