Service from Portland Union Station to Corvallis via Oswego, Newberg and McMinnville. It was also known as the “Yamhill Line” after the old Southern Pacific steam line division that followed the same route, or even the “Jefferson-street Line” after the street it used to exit downtown Portland (as opposed the the West Side “Fourth-street Line”). The line was extended and constructed as far as Eugene, but only ever electrified as far south as Corvallis.
