Formed when the Willamette Valley Southern was purchased by the Portland Electric Power Company at public sale in October 1927 and reorganized. Now a wholly-owned subsidiary of PEPCO, it oversaw the last days of passenger and freight service – which ended in 1933 and 1938 respectively – before the company was declared bankrupt, put up for sale and dismantled in 1939.
