A short-lived real estate line developed by Hartman & Thompson (moving further along Sandy Boulevard after the success of their Park Rose City development). It ran approximately two miles from the Portland city limits at 82nd and Sandy out along “the Sandy road” to the new development of Parkrose at 122nd. Service was provided by two aging Portland Railway, Light & Power Company (1906–1924) cars purchased for $1,300 each, so the schedule was slow and by the end of service was regarded as completely unsatisfactory. The replacement of the line with modern buses in mid-1927 [not late 1928, as Labbe suggests] was met with celebration.
