A behemoth public utilities company that was a predecessor of today’s Puget Sound Energy. They acquired the Vancouver streetcar lines from the North Coast Power Company in January 1923, along with the other utilities operated by the company. The Puget Sound company also operated street railways in other Washington towns that are beyond the scope of this research.
Originally, it seems that the North Coast Power name was maintained under the new ownership, but in June 1924, the Clark County Development Company was revived to manage the streetcar lines instead. At the end of 1925 the concern was sold to the Portland Electric Power Company.
