1911_Railroad-Streetcar-Map_Annotated.jpg

The single most useful Portland historical streetcar map I’ve yet found. As well as indicating narrow gauge, standard gauge, and single and double trackage for all the rail franchises in the city as of January 1, 1911, the map has been updated through to the end of 1912 on the east side. Franchises held but not built are shown by dashed lines, some of which have been scribbled out in pencil to show that the franchise has expired. The map is also liberally annotated, showing council ordinance numbers for many of the extensions shown on the map. Invaluable!
