This line grew out of the extension of the early Lower Albina line northwards along Mississippi and Albina avenues to its eventual terminus in Kenton, hence the use of “L” for “Lower” on its dash signs for many years.

September 14, 1940 – Final abandonment of line; replaced by trolleybus. | | --- | --- | | Operating Companies: | ‣ ‣ ‣ ‣ ‣ | | Preceded By: | ‣ ‣ | | Gauge: | Narrow (3-feet, 6-inches) | | Headboard: | Early: “K” or “L” depending on terminus; later: “MA” | | Car Barn: | ‣ |
