Called “Westover Terrace(s)” in the early years of operation after the real estate development that it served.

First operated as a stub line from NW 25th Avenue and Pettygrove up to NW Cumberland and Shenandoah, the line was extended in both directions over the years. At the top of the hill, the line was extended to NW Ariel Terrace, though the date of this is uncertain (January 1928 is the earliest mention I have found, and various maps seem to support this approximate date).

The line was also extended in stages toward downtown; first to NW Northrup and 23rd in November, 1916 and then all the way to SW Fifth and Sherman in June 1927 (but only during weekday rush hours). Adjustments to the downtown terminus and routing continued to be made, with the line running around the Washington/Morrison loop both clockwise and counter-clockwise over the years, and sometimes heading as far south as SW Sherman Street.

However, by June 1941, just before abandonment, the line had returned to stub operation from NW 23rd and Northrup.

The line was abandoned and replaced with a combined Kings Heights/Westover bus service in August 1941.
